Scholarship Information
The Eric W. Herzberg Memorial Scholarship - Florida is a $5,000 award which is presented each year to deserving 8th or 9th grade students who are well rounded in the areas of academics, athletics and community service.
The Eric W. Herzberg Memorial Scholarship - Maryland is a $5,000 award which is presented each year to deserving Severna Park high school seniors who are well rounded in the areas of academics, athletics and community service.
Both scholarships are awarded in remembrance of Marine Lance Corporal Eric W. Herzberg, who gave his life in service to the United States on October 21, 2006 in Al Anbar province in Iraq.
Scholarship recipients will be selected annually by the Eric W. Herzberg scholarship committee. The scholarship committee will consist of at least three members of the Herzberg family to include Eric's father.
