American Legion Post 175 in Severna Park, Maryland, dedicated their athletic field in Eric’s honor in a moving ceremony on Memorial Day.  Eric played rubgy there with the Severn River Rugby club, many of whose members were in attendance including Eric’s former coach.  There were several testimonials about the meaning of Memorial Day as well as several who shared memories of Eric.  The dedication was coordinated by a former non-commissioned officer, Donnie Brazeal,  who served in the same unit as Eric did.  In attendance were Eric’s father Eric and mother Gina,step-mother Wendi,  brother Matthew, step-brother Brendan and step-sisters Melissa and Melanie as well as various aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thank you to American Legion Post 175 for honoring Eric and family, and keeping Eric’s memory alive.
