2023 Maryland Scholarship Recipient – Brice Clark
May 2023 update:
Announcing our 2023 Maryland Scholarship recipient Brice Clark.
During a zoom call after the award was presented to her (I missed the actual award ceremony due to unprecedented traffic), we learned from Brice that she will attend Liberty University in the fall and will be focusing her studies in the biomedical field. She had just attended her uncle’s wedding in North Carolina and was gracious enough to find some time for Tabatha and I to meet her virtually. We talked about Eric quite a bit of course as well as her family where she is the youngest of five siblings. As we parted ways, Brice gave some great encouragement for us….that even now, 17 years after Eric’s passing he is still alive through the scholarship programs, through the Fallen Heroes Portrait project, through the Honor and Remember Foundation, the Severna Park Memorial Park, the Mona Shores Middle School and other ways people have of honoring our Heroes. Thank you Brice for reminding us of this – a great bit of encouragement. We wish you many blessings on your journey and look forward to staying in touch to cheer for your progress.
