2019 Maryland Scholarship Recipient – Emily Krasic
Emily is on her way to college in North Carolina to pursue a future in the medical field in some capacity. In her words…”I really want to study abroad during my college experience and I hope to participate in a program that will be helping those who are not as fortunate in a less developed country. I think it is important to also help serve humanity in general outside of the United States. This is also why I had considered pursuing a career with “Doctors Without Borders”. I already want to pursue a career in medicine and I have not decided exactly what field, but I have found myself to be very interested in physical rehabilitation and orthopedics. In order to put myself on the right track for any path that I might want to take regarding medicine, I decided to major in biology as an undergrad and then attempt to pursue medical school.”
Emily – those are big goals. We look forward to hearing about your progress and will be rooting for you to accomplish everything you have set out before you.
